@viticci Display specs are insane… but unfortunately the crappy ergonomics of a touchscreen on a laptop weren’t solved. Steve was right imho, in such a format the touchscreen on a Mac makes no sense.
@LeakerApple Ive wasn’t the problem imho, i think Apple would still benefit a lot of him leading design. Problem was that after Steve died, there wasn’t anyone to balance/challenge Jony’s work.
@DonnyWals Did use the Migration Assistant for years now to transfer data from one device to another without issues. You can also select what gets transferred.
@mattie@danielpunkass I see your point… frankly after 2 years of mostly remote work I hardly remember the need of a dongle to connect to projectors, etc. :-). In any case, it is not a deal breaker. I still dream of a day when we have just 1 single port and cable for everything.
@mattie@danielpunkass A port that is rarely used imho (also not it’s latest version), added at the expense of 1 TB/USB-C port, doesn’t look like the way forward to me. Frankly by now everything should’ve switched to USB-C ports. Also funny that the new iMac doesn’t have HDMI or at least SD Card port.
@photobix @tado Looks like the crash is Geofencing related… so better don’t get back home until we fix the issue! 👀 Sorry again for this and thanks a lot for reporting, we will do our best to provide a fix asap. Have a nice weekend!
@photobix @tado Hi Tobias, sorry for the bad experience, we are going to work on a fix asap. Could you please try to delete and then reinstall the app and see if the crash goes away? Thank you!
@patrickreeve@tado Ok, if you are on the Beta, update through TestFlight to version 6.6. It should contain everything that the App Store version has, plus more.
@TPrevoo@tado There is a sign out for inactivity in place, though it shouldn’t happen too often. I couldn’t find anything relevant on my side, could you please try force quitting the app and then signing-in again? If that doesn’t help, please reinstall the app and give it another try. Thanks.
