@rijksmuseum Meanwhile since you have no effective controls against scalpers, only people who can pay €175+ per ticket can see the paintings. In this day and age it is possible to keep companies like this from buying up all the tickets for resale at great profit.

@seanbonner When artists are starting out, they need to do marketing, otherwise nobody knows they are there.

Especially if an artist intends to make a living from selling their art, they need to have a community large and dedicated enough that it will generate consistent sales.
