@PoweredbyOWC Installed OWC 1TB Aura X2 SSD and new battery in the Retina 15” BMP Mid 2015. Works great up until Big Sur. MacOS Monterey doesn’t seems to like the SSD upgrade though.

@daringfireball Apple basically ignored the last 5 years and introduced a new improved 2015 MacBook Pro. Except for the missing shining apple logo at the back it looks closer to MBP from 2015 than 2020. Biggest drawback is the 20% price increase.
