@TalkinBaseball_ Great call. Pitch clock is there for a really good reason. If Finnegan doesn't have the game awareness to get the ball out of his glove in time IN THAT SITUATION...welp, he's a major league beisbol pitcher. That's how clocks work in sports.
@SarahSpain@SarahSpain thanks to you and @jemelehill for bringing sense and context into this conversation. I am also happy for the WNBAPA who might finally be heard. Our best players should be able to make a living here in the US, not Russia.
@LAFC Cherundolo needs to stop acting like nothing's wrong. We looked awful against Charlotte and execrable against Inter. Take accountability. Do better.
@asanwal (6) We all thought this was going to be a thing. We waited for a year and nothing. Then, just when the tournament would have started, the sponsor did a perp walk. Alan Stanford. And that was that, dammit.
@asanwal (3) He hired T20 ambassadors to explain the rules at the bars, you could choose a nation and get the t-shirt and matching pom-pom, and after a couple of rounds every nation had its own bar. It went nuts. Downtown Fort Collins was heaving with people who were sudden experts.
@asanwal I lived there at the time (working for Seagate Technology). The guy bought every bus bench, billboard, and the complete inventory of local radio and TV time to get this thing over. The downtown bars got free rights to broadcast and most did.
