@ByRyanWood Media beating up Love. He may not be good but the defense better be dominating. A QB with almost no real game experience, two second year receivers, a rookie receiver, and two rookie tight ends better not beat our “loaded” D during the first week of practice.
@j_nap9 Point taken. A dramatic increase would be 14 ADUs instead of 7. But every little bit helps and it’s still housing for someone. Project by project and ordinance by ordinance the City limits housing units without a valid reason. Affordability dies a death of a thousand cuts.
@j_nap9 One problem is that the City requires that the property be owner occupied to have an ADU. It’s another example of how the City passes a pro-housing policy but then waters it down to make it almost pointless. If you want more ADUs, lift the owner occupied restriction.
@aligarfield_@theRealZenz Dane County Register of Deeds has a library of deed restrictions (7,640 - includes condos). You need to know the name of the neighborhood. For example, you can look up University Hill Farms. https://t.co/6vUaMpUfJm
@theRealZenz You are 100% correct. Neighborhood covenants are a barrier to adding housing, and are the reason that getting rid of single family zoning will probably not happen in Madison like it has happened in other cities. Not enough benefit for the political headache.
BREAKING: U.S. Supreme Court has changed the absentee rules in Wisconsin's election.
Absentee ballots must be POSTMARKED by April 7 (and received by April 13). A district judge had not required ballots to be postmarked by then -- only that they be received by April 13.
Without even looking I think we all agree that ESPN’s BPI bracket simulation is the only true way to decide a National Champion. https://t.co/wPSFVYVp4N
