These are the only two overseas Test series England have won in Australia and India in the last three and a half decades.
And both tours had one constant. Cook.

Across those tours, he faced 2700+ deliveries.
Let that sit for a second.

On average, bowlers needed 200+ balls to get him out.

Those numbers aren’t noise.
They’re time, control, and resistance in the hardest places to tour.

England didn’t force those wins.
They waited them out.

Cook was the constant.
Opening. Absorbing. Repeating.

If a team wants to win in Australia or India, the template is old and unforgiving.
Someone has to take this on.

As part of the existing joint venture agreement, they have the right to completely buy out BT before the end of 2026. Much of the old UK Eurosport (also Warner bros) is now shown on TNT.
