We love to see our grant-making in action. PooleCommunities Trust's Bourne Community Store helps distribute donated and unsold food to people on low incomes. For just £1 membership they can buy ten good quality items for £3 every week. Simple but brilliant.

With the support of Superior Seals, we've awarded £15,000 to 22 promising young sports people from our Lord Lieutenant's Fund for Young and Talented. Our grants will support training, kit, coaching, travel, entry fees and other costs that will help them fulfil their potential.
We enjoyed our visit to meet Carole Jones at The Vale Pantry's Family Hub in Sturminster Newton. Getting out to hear what groups are planning and hearing first hand the impact our grants have made really brings home the value of what our donors allow us to do.

We had a great visit to #Dorchester Youth & Community Centre yesterday to hear from manager Laura Barnes how it provides activities, support, fun and a listening ear for 200 young people in the town. It really is a fantastic resource for the town and its young people.
