The Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) turned 40 this year. Over its lifespan, VOCA has served tens of millions of victims of crime nationwide, including those served at Children's Advocacy Centers. Tell Congress to pass the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act to ensure it can keep providing critical services! #VOCA40

"VOCA has faced severe cuts with each fiscal year. Illinois CACs can’t plan strategically for long-term services and our capacity to fully support victims is undercut each time."

In a Letter to the Editor at the Chicago @Suntimes, Children's Advocacy Center of Illinois Executive Director Kim Mangiaracino discusses the impact of Victims of Crime Act (VOCA) cuts to victim services, like Children's Advocacy Centers (CACs) in Illinois, at risk of cutting back resources.

Read on to learn more, share this with your network, and tell Congress to pass the Crime Victims Fund Stabilization Act (CVFSA) in the House to protect CACs and provide access for victims to get the support they need: https://t.co/RAeaYhQN42

I'm sick of big creators harming & exploiting kids as I know many of you are too. If you wanna take action, then donate or do a fundraiser for @NCAforCACs or @NCMEC. Both are great & on Tiltify. I can even get you in touch with someone at both orgs if you wanna do a big event.
