@WOTonPrime @katysedai I can't name any other references other than have already been mentioned, (certainly a lot more than I ever noticed or expected), but I know that the supreme blending of them all is certainly one of the key things that drag readers in to this world so quickly and effortlessly

@rafejudkins @WOTonPrime I think it would only work if you had a narrator speaking to show that it's a history being told. I definitely think @katysedai has a point that it could be seen as a daydream which might lead to confusion for non readers. It's definitely a scene I'd love to see though!

@WOTonPrime I loved how this was clearly a place that was self contained. Despite clearly having world renowned goods that peddlers made long journeys to purchase all talk was of this place and the community. Nobody wanted to leave. It made it feel like home
