@BellaWallerstei Thatcher sold off one of our greatest assets. As a Tory how do you reconcile the rampant privatisation that has weakened all our public services?
@TonyIncenzo I have recently just spent a week reorganising my programmes and storing them in shoeboxes in my loft - 30+ seasons of games watched or were involved with as a match official, from international matches to local youth leagues and everything in between!
@rebekkarnold Not sure how Ecuador have become one of the best teams in South America, their first World Cup was as late as 2002, but the teams in that confederation are closely matched. Only Venezuela have never qualified for a World Cup.
@rebekkarnold Decent manager - I thought they might have moved for Xabi Alonso (or at least do a hijack before he starts) or Luis Enrique. Lots of plusses with Iraola, as you know I wanted him at Spurs (Pochettino vibes) but might he struggle to adapt at a bigger club like a Thomas Frank?
@pls__xx He had to deal with the tragic passing of Jota to be fair - which affected the squad massively. Xabi Alonso maybe regretting signing for Chelsea?
@rebekkarnold He genuinely does this....
He also represented Tottenham in 1989 with the Liverpool players for the funerals of the Hillsborough victims as one of the 96 was a Spurs fan who went to the game with his Liverpool supporting mates.
@rebekkarnold There used to be three comps before the European Cup was renamed Champions League and the Cup Winners Cup and UEFA Cup merged into Europa League. Drop downs from one comp into another didn't happen. It is only fans of the most successful clubs opposed to the new formats.
@WestHam_Info Correct we do - and when we have piss poor owners and equally shit recruitment, we have a right to call them out. Like you do - best wishes in changing your owner by the way!
@rebekkarnold Think the book now needs to be thrown at City. West Ham need to change their ownership too - so do we, but I suggest the Hammers owner is slighly worse.
@HotspurLane@ReelHammerz There used to be three European comps tbf...... but no Champions League drop downs means a wider variety of clubs can enjoy success. I loved last season's UEFA Cup win and wouldn't swap it for anything; neither I guess would any Hammer swap the UCL win in Prague.
