Always be yourself. At the end of the day that’s all you’ve got. When you strip everything down. that’s all you have got. so always be yourself. #VoteNo.
I don't care what the Liberal Party wants.
I don't care what the Labor Party wants.
I don't care what any Political Party wants.
I DO care what the people of Australia want.
The people have limited opportunities to say what they want, often it is only by supporting or rejecting particular policies at a General ELECTION.
At every single election since 2007 Climate Change has been at the forefront and the people have voted on the policies.
In March 2007 Leader of the Opposition held a Climate Summit where he declared it was the Greatest Moral challenge of out time.
"His seven-point framework includes possible establishment of an office of climate change within the prime minister's department should Labor win government at the election later this year.
He emphasised clean-coal technology at the core of the plan, but made no mention of considering nuclear power as the government has proposed."
The LNP Government of John Howard (Turnbull was Minister for Environment) introduced a knee-jerk reaction and introduced an Emission Trading Scheme and Lost the Election in December 2007.
Prime Minister Gillard went to the election in 2010 stating that there would be no Carbon Tax under her Government. She did introduce such a tax and a mining tax and was deposed by Kevin Rudd who promptly lost the 2013 Election.
Prime Minister Abbott repealed both the Carbon and Mining taxes as he promised but was deposed by Malcolm Turnbull who almost lost the election. When Turnbull tried to Introduce a NEG he was deposed by Scott Morrison. who won the 2019 opposing Labor's uncosted but planned 45% emission reduction policy.
Now the Morrison Government is trying to introduce a 100% reduction policy without mandate from the people when he is less than 6 months out from a general election. If polls are to be believed whereas the majority of people still support some actions to mitigate perceived man-made climate change they are not prepared to make major economic changes to accommodate it.
Regardless of what Rudd, Turnbull or Morrison thinks the people of Australia realise it is the 'greatest economic challenge of our time' and considering the level of National Debt incurred as a result of the COVID pandemic I doubt they will support any further decline in the economy. An economy which in its best year had a $28.7Billion surplus and now owes about 40 times that amount.

Not for the first time, Andrew Hastie is putting it all on the line: “I said that Net Zero policy is a straitjacket for our economy and our country, and I believe that.”
No @sussanley you are in error, again. @JNampijinpa spoke truth in a decided and honest way. Plus she spoke what conservative voters believe to be the truth. Your 'high standard' is one that appeases Labor and @AlboMP has enjoyed having you stuck in place. This is the end of Libs
The Australian people stand with you Senator Jacinta Nampijinpa Price!
Don’t back down for speaking the TRUTH you are our voice! We hope this makes you stronger! 💪🏼🇦🇺
This is what a lack of opposition political leadership looks like in Australia, and I make no apology for highlighting it.
The Liberals have no policies, no strategy and zero cohesion. They have spent four months navel-gazing and talking about themselves.
And now they are is full flight demonising one of their own because they’ve bought into the race-baiting narrative pushed by the ABC and Labor. And so off they go on a pity party tour and apologise on behalf of their demonised colleague for raising an issue that concerns a large proportion of their rapidly dwindling supporter base. That issue is record immigration.
But not content with that, they’re white-anting the messenger in leaking to the media. And they sent out their ‘flying-monkey’ to denigrate her and to lead the charge. It’s disgraceful.
If this is how the Liberals think they can win office, they are utterly delusional. And I’ll add it’s the same group doing this who white-anted and undermined Peter Dutton. They’re more intent on internal power struggles than actually taking the fight up to Labor.
They don’t deserve anyone’s support. They are a rabble.
