I've been working largely at home for 38 years as a freelance financial journalist, writer, broadcaster, and speaker. My motivation? The bills coming through the door. People who work hard in the office will work hard at home. Skivers will skive. Management needs to improve.

Q: How do you trick the population into believing that asylum seekers are becoming a bigger and bigger issue?
A: Stop processing asylum applications.
Cynical? That's exactly what the Tories did.
The % of asylum applications completed within 6 months fell from 80%+ to ~10%.
@bobbert_ You often see this as a prefix to shows filmed in Australia as well, their version of I’m a Celeb (when filmed in Au during Covid), and The Block based an entire episode around the rightful owners when filming outside of Melbourne last year.
I'm anti-war, so any talk of killing is not for me. But it's wild to see how in 2013, papers called Harry "hero prince", "action man", "swashbuckling royal" when he spoke about killing Taliban insurgents. A decade on (and now the enemy) he's attacked for repeating the same claim.
