@jaynordlinger There’s also a photo from that time. Saul Goodman wrote a book that mentions a set of timpani that had a stage collapse on them during a storm and were destroyed. As a percussionist, and knowing that Saul likely would not have scrapped anything musical, I hope this is that set.
