As the collective freak out continues, Harris will lose by about 2 points. Trump will get about 50.3% of the vote. Across the Rust Belt swing states Harris would have lost by less than 150K votes it seems.

So... Trump isn't some wizard or genius. It seems 3 factors determined this election.

1) Post pandemic reality where nearly every incumbent party lost.

2) Racism and misogyny that many white colleagues still refuse to acknowledge as a major factor.

3) Right-wing media domination and disinformation.

We’ve already found out that it was compromised.

People have posted Rejected mail-in ballots dated 11/5 all day.

A county in Pennsylvania sent the Election Board a letter stating that mail-in ballots were rejected by a computer glitch.

Trump told his supporters numerous times at rallies, “Don’t vote. I don’t need your vote. We already gave the votes.”

There were record turn-outs and early voters (Record meaning MORE than before), but 20 million votes are missing-15 million are registered Democrats.

Friends in Ohio went online on Wednesday 11/6 and see their ballots, without explanation, were rejected on 11/5.

….and just like everything else as people RUSH TO RECAPTURE NORMALCY, the news media is not covering any of this the day after election…..No investigative reporting, no inquiry, no curiosity.

Anti-Blackness continues to be a powerful force in this country. And anti-Blackness cannot just be attributed to white Americans. The shock about the significant increase in Latinos choosing Trump, with his anti-immigrant rhetoric, family separation policy, and insults of Latin countries, over a Black woman tells me too many people fail to understand that anti-Blackness is deeply embedded in Latino cultures as well and that the interests of those who are part of that very large, multiracial, multi-nationality Latino category are not and not ever been necessarily aligned with those of Black people simply because many white Americans do not consider them to be white. This is why, as I argued in my essay on the colorblindness scam, that we must stop lumping all non-white people into a single "of color" group.
