Happy #Pentecost Sunday. On the Day of Pentecost, the ascended Jesus poured out the Holy Spirit on His followers as He had promised, transforming them to begin their global mission.
Some of the ACT Street Angels met with the Chief Constable of Lancashire last night along with other Street Angel and Street Pastor groups from across Lancashire.
The team said, "It is encouraging to meet with others involved in this work, to share experiences and to know how much the work is valued by the police."
While lots of us will be out and about enjoying the long bank holiday weekend, many of our #TeamSWASFT colleagues will be working throughout the weekend to keep our communities safe. 🚑

How it works
A ROC Conversation is a one-year community engagement project that begins with an invitation from a local area. This will sometimes come from a statutory body such as the Police or a local authority; other times it may be a local charity or church or even a school. The request is always based on the need for a neutral facilitator to gather a diverse group with no specific agenda other than the desire to strengthen the community through opening door of communication between existing groups.
