Last week, Mr. Mike from the PE department came to talk about his hobby. He uses a metal detector to look for hidden treasures on the beaches of Hong Kong. We had a good discussion about how pursuing our passions allow us to discover ourselves, others and the world around us.

We visited the grocery store and the wet market. It was a wonderful way to connect with community helpers in Ma On Shan. It also made us think more deeply about the journey of our food. #rchkpyp #farmtotable

Yesterday, Mr. Paul (horticulturalist) took us on a nature walk around the park. We learned about so many different kinds of trees and plants in Hong Kong- fig trees, elephant ear plant, eucalyptus trees, Bauhinia trees, powder puff plants, etc.

Woodworking nurtures so many important aspects in early the years, including creativity, fine and gross motor skills, persistence, focus, thinking skills, self-regulation skills and respect for tools and others. Thank you for a productive and enjoyable day @jasonprohaska!
