@Ryanair all I wanted was a no-show letter to claim my money back having missed my flight due to covid. Been waiting since 30 June and spoken to your agents three times with different information each time. Now sent an email to @TravDr at @thetimes to ask for help

@willquince are you aware of the recruitment crisis in the Early Years sector? Huge shortage of practitioners will have a knock-on effect on childcare places, parents going back to work & businesses. Reduced ratios won't help if we don't have the staff anyway. Is there a plan?

@willquince Sort out funding, make that reflect the actual cost per hour per child and then maybe you'll see reductions in costs to parents. When you had consultations did you actually listen to those who work in settings or was your agenda set already and you just had to tick the boxes?

@willquince Are you going to have any consideration for childcare providers costs when you reduce the cost of childcare to parents? Many will not change ratios because we know it's not safe to do so or in the children's interests. How? Because we're actually the ones working in settings.

@educationgovuk thank you for the message from our LA today saying early years practitioners won't get fined for getting vaccinated after we were told we could. We have ALL children in & can't distance, no PPE or tests on site. So its nice not to get fined #vaccinateearlyyears

@EYAlliance We are out there, we are having to close because of positive cases, we are mentally and physically exhausted from this and still you aren't showing that you're fighting for us. So we have to fight yet another battle and hope that we can protect ourselves against this

@EYAlliance I'm at a complete loss. How are you not fighting for us to get our staff vaccinated? Social workers are getting it but wfh. We are in work with children, not able to distance and told not to wear extra PPE. What will it take for you to support us & not just pass on messages?

@Morrisons @MissLDeane What about Early Years practitioners in pre-nurseries and childminders who are educating children at the very earliest stage and also work really hard to make sure they get the best start in life? Are we also included please?
