Holy Week Reminder:
If you are not sure of your purpose in life, just do what you are good at and then watch God confirm your choices by blessing your endeavors.
Often, God leads us to understand our purpose through the skills and talents He gives us and the opportunities He blesses us with to practice this.
Therefore, do not spend your life trying to do what you are not gifted to do - you'll be miserable.
Be a good steward of what God has blessed you with. Give back and be blessed.
Have a blessed week ahead. 🙏🌸🙏

Doc Gia was no ordinary soul. She fought hard for a world of love and acceptance. She was there for the lonely and broken, dedicating her life to healing. Even now, her legacy lives on through projects like this podcast. Thanks for everything, Doc G. 💜 We'll carry on the fight
There will always be reasons to quit doing something—quit med school, quit taking the exam, or quit life altogether.
But, you just have to find more reasons to continue, persist, and persevere.
What’s in your control:
• Your emotions
• How much time you’re studying
• How much effort you’re putting in everyday
What isn’t:
• How difficult the exam will be
• How much time is left before the exam
• How much study material you still have to cover
How I used to study in 1st year med school:
•Studied until 4AM
•Never did any practice tests
•Highlighted everything in the textbook
How I do now:
•Sleep for 7 hours
•Do practice tests every day
•Space out my studies of different subjects
Reminder to self:
You should feel incredibly uncomfortable and frustrated whenever you're doing practice tests.
Otherwise, you’re simply reviewing what you already know, without identifying your knowledge gaps.
Another benefit of NOT taking notes when studying:
It prevents us from forgetting important information
Taking notes makes us (subconsciously) forget the information we've just learned.
Because since it's already written down, the brain assumes there's no need to remember it.
