@Itssan17 As far as I see, they are not remaking the films. They are re-telling the books. The films are good, but far away from perfect when comparing to the books. The length of series allow us to see much more than films can.
Wait until you see the random diadem that Harry just thrown away in the Room Requirements and then realized how important it is, one year later. These payoff moments are in the books and are totally different in the movies. Don’t compare them, they can co-exist.
The Harry Potter franchise took 10 years to build to this moment between Michael Gambon as Dumbledore and Alan Rickman as Snape. You could feel the energy & emotion in the packed theater throughout the entire last 1/3rd of this film. Why touch it? Why mess with what’s perfect?
