It's like getting reinfected with an old variant. Do we take last year's flu shot for this year's flu virus? No, of course. It's the same thing.

It makes enough difference to basically make mass immunization not an effective strategy as the virus is able to circulate freely. All the vaccinated people continue to get infected which is a benefit to SARS-CoV-2.

Those who did not develop immunity against measles can get infected, that does not prove that people with immunity can get infected. Immunity by definition means you can’t get infected.

I don't think a real vaccine against the coronavirus family is possible.

We don't have a vaccine that is able to do that because of the nature of coronavirus, it is evolving faster than we can immunize the population making every vaccine against SARS-CoV-2 outdated.

You speak in absolutes but that's just playing word games, does not change the substance. SARS-CoV-2 does not need absolute escape, constant selection of escape variants means developing a real vaccine is not possible.
