Our Rock Bridge AVID juniors and seniors had a great day volunteering at The Food Bank for Central & Northeast Missouri.

We had the best time with our AVID sophomores volunteering at The Food Bank where we bagged and boxed 405 boxes of produce and 5 pallets of apples for a total of 12,500 pounds.

Rock Bridge AVID led Shared Planning today where PLTs created writing prompts to help students learn their content. Good stuff!

Our AVID Site Team did an amazing job leading PD this morning on “Using Writing as a Tool for Learning”. The planning and preparation that went into the presentations was clearly evident. I can’t wait to see how teachers use this with their students! #ThisIsAVID

Ss from @eatonjess16’s AVID-10 class knocked their Soc Sem out of the park. Topic-“Is social media ruining us?” They provided evidence from both their articles and personal experience, built comments from what others said and used academic language. It was amazing! #ThisIsAVID
