RIP HNIC. This hurts. I watched every Saturday religiously as a kid. Part of the reason why I don’t hate the Leafs as a Buffalo fan. They were like a second home team and I got to watch those great games and listen to all those great broadcasting voices. End of an era indeed.
Hockey Night in Canada on CBC is the eighth longest running TV show in THE HISTORY OF THE WORLD at 72 seasons.
Add in radio, and it's been a Saturday night fixture for families on CBC for 90 years.
There has never been a Canadian cultural institution like it, and there never will be again.

That new NHL jersey initiative that's happening "Hometown Remix" or whatever has the Sabres leaks as a blue and gold goathead.
I wish they'd pick this as main crest
Had a guy, who called himself a psychic, call me three times today. He told me that the #Bills will win the Super Bowl in 2027, and the #Sabres will win the Stanley Cup in 2026. Take that for what it’s worth.
𝗥𝗘𝗣𝗢𝗥𝗧: The relationship between Devon Levi and the Sabres appears broken.
“It's over, it's over with Devon Levi and the Buffalo Sabres” -Jeff Marek

@04SabresFan@PeteGuelli While they shoukd absolutely update the concourses, they could dedicate different areas of the arena to the different logo/jersey eras
People are going to victims of the moment and want Tage gone. That is not the correct play.
The Sabres probably pay him at least 4M dollar under market value. You need goal scoring, build better infrastructure around him.
Barring injury, for the 46th consecutive season, a former teammate of Jaromir Jagr will appear in the Stanley Cup Final
Brett Kulak (Avalanche) or Rasmus Andersson (Golden Knights)
