You say your issue is the hypocrisy, so let's break that down.

The issue was never his name. The issue was fans intentionally chanting his name at ENHYPEN during their performance after he'd already left the group. That's a message directed at ENHYPEN.

Replying to a fan whose username happens to include his name is a message to the fan, not to him, about him, or for him. These are two completely different situations.

By your logic, what are they supposed to do? Refuse to interact with every fan whose username includes Heeseung's name or the number 7? Those fans are literally in ENHYPEN's Weverse community because they chose to be there. Many of them are still ENGENEs who support both btw, and ENHYPEN clearly understands that.

So where's the hypocrisy?

You also say ENHYPEN should "respect" him. When did they disrespect him? Give one actual example Raghda. Because asking fans not to bring someone who chose to leave back into ENHYPEN's space isn't disrespect. It's respecting the reality that both ENHYPEN and Evan are moving forward.

Calling it "manipulative" doesn't make it manipulative. Where is the manipulation Ragdha? Be specific.

You've removed the context that makes them different, then used that false equivalence to accuse ENHYPEN of hypocrisy and manipulation.

ENHYPEN has been clear about one thing: don't bring someone who chose to leave back into ENHYPEN's space. Turning that into "they should never reply to anyone with his name in their username" is a standard you created and added meaning to, not them.
