I don’t love AI for a lot of things, but coming up with recipes that are MCAS-friendly that also avoid all my allergens might be my favorite thing right now.
The Oatmeal/Applesauce muffins taste great, were easy to make, and I’m not reacting to them.
I want everyone to stop and ask what interest Google has in releasing mosquitoes. They’re a tech company. Not an environmental group. Not a non-profit. Not a government. A tech company. Just like Bill Gates, I don’t want them anywhere near our wildlife or nature. CC: @LeeMZeldin
Something a coworker said to me once still sticks with me.
“If you stopped focusing on your symptoms so much, they probably wouldn’t affect you as much.”
I don’t think healthy people realize how insulting it feels to have your illness reduced to a mindset problem.
People with chronic illness aren’t choosing this life.
Ignoring symptoms wont magically make us feel better.
This isn’t something a “mind over matter” attitude can fix.
Have you ever wished that you could just tell someone to their face, "Hey, you stink?"

It's May 1st—time to kick off both Fibromyalgia Awareness Month and Lyme Disease Awareness Month.

@InformedNJNurse It doesn't help that the CDC only recognizes Lyme if you have 3 bands present. I couldn't get short-term disability while on FMLA because I only tested positive at the time for 1 band. They said my doctor failed to prove I had the disease she said I had.
Spent Easter isolated from the family after I started wheezing when the Clams Oreganata were brought out.
MCAS sucks. Trying very hard to get my family to understand that I really can't be in a room with wheat anymore. It's extremely frustrating.
