@KJSAcct Good points. We're in the process of putting together our changes and processes for next tax season and this was one of the ideas floating around.
Does anyone charge extra for paper copies of returns or just providing them electronically free? We're thinking about implementing this for new clients at our firm and curious. During tax season most of our work is in person appointments btw. #taxtwitter
@Taxsavvyjessica@CrownCPA We do already charge for extra copies or copies after we gave the initial copy. But we're testing the waters if we should charge for the initial paper copy or not.
@cordes_tax That's a good point. We need to start pushing more of our legacy clients that come in for appointments or just drop their stuff off to our portal. But I like the idea of having a digital copy stored somewhere both us and the client has access to.
@DebFoxFinancial @BrooksBrown_23 That's a good question. Based on the initial fee we discussed I'd imagine that it's just one copy. But it wasn't clear.
When Dire Straits took the stage at Live Aid in '85, most fans had no idea why Sting joined them, but when he started singing the opening lyrics to "Money For Nothing", they realized it was his voice on the radio hit which widely went unnoticed til then 🔥 Goosebumps when Mark Knopfler finally plays that guitar riff and the crowd takes over for the drums.
@LoganGrafTax I've got a 3 car garage and considered turning part of the third bay into office capable to use during the off-season. I work in an office but outside of tax season I don't have to go in unless I have a client appointment. If you've got a big enough garage maybe that's an option.
@joesignorellonj Since 2007, the Thunder have a winning percentage of .576% compared to Lakers .516%. Thunder has had 14 winning seasons during that time and the Lakers only 10. What are you talking about being bad is a business strategy?
It is with profound sadness that we announce the loss of Bob Kevoian, beloved co-founder and longtime host of The Bob & Tom Show, who passed away peacefully Friday afternoon at his home, surrounded by family and friends. Details regarding memorial services will be shared at a later time.
@ehawk80 I'm pretty sure it was invented by the famous chef James Holey in 1854. Him and his wife would cut the holes out to feed their herd of pigeon carriers. However after the first year they realized the hole was slowing their delivery times. So they pivoted to selling them.
