A digital assets clause in a will from before 2018 is usually inadequate today.
Cloud accounts, crypto, social media, two factor authentication, password managers.
A successor who cannot access the accounts cannot administer the estate. The technical access problem is now a legal access problem.

Thanks Brian- It would be great if it worked as intended and planned. I tried this year, registered and paid, reserved hotel room, booked my flight, told other TX friends I would be there and then....another close family death-see Mother's Day photo I shared today.
I've never been to that state-look forward to it.

Probably none of those. Might tell a trusted s/one. Say my gratitude prayers. Put a process and helpful team in place (like a #tax accountant and a #estateplanning lawyer). Breathe. Continue as usual. Like to think about it before I do it. Better decisions. Objective > emotional.
