@mert In that article it says validators currently need 274K SOL staked to break even but it's more like 90K right now (5/0 commission). And that it grows to almost 700K, how?
Eg 0% commission validators already take nothing from the inflation rewards so it's not even relevant for them
@KidPaddle591 In the Netherlands we have this saying that you need to lock your bike better than the bike next to yours.
All bikes can get stolen given infinite effort, you just need to not be the easiest pick.
Admin signer was compromised, or whoever controls it intentionally executed these changes.
They created a new collateral market for CVT (https://t.co/jkiGZfRYIg)
They set it up with maximal / permissive collateral parameters, they called updateWithdrawGuardThreshold(), and updated parameters to be extremely relaxed:
USDC: 25000000000000 -> 500000000000000
Others: 5000000000 -> 500000000000000

Re drift hack this is my working hypothesis
The wallet 55udxhScWQxM7cC9d1NPBQoEDC7B38w81EWKPZsM7ZCW received 600M CVT
https://t.co/6OS8DOCTPA
Deposited into Drift: https://t.co/dEza38yfTM
And that probably made the guy have "$500 million in collateral".
The withdraws afterwards are just "borrowing against collateral"
It might be a smart contract bug where the deposit function didn't correctly check the token mint!
The mint used in the deposit is retrieved via get_token_mint(remaining_accounts_iter) — meaning it comes from remaining accounts rather than being validated through Anchor's declarative #[account(constraint = ...)] system. The code doesn't appear to have an explicit struct-level constraint that verifies the deposited token's mint matches the spot market vault's expected mint.
SFDP destaked because you have 1 epoch too low vote credits. You'll get it back in 2 epochs or so as long as you don't go down.
I think all your stake allows a 5/10 commission instead of 0/0, then your brake even point should ~75K stake (where you are right now when SFDP is back).
Are you already doing doublezero multicast? You should have more stake from doublezero.
@coingecko@coinbase@openclaw And after you've found the alpha you can use https://t.co/1BtZ6OS3N6 to buy that token. Supports any token to any token swaps on Solana
Check out this x402 Solana token swap that supports any to any tokens. You pay in the input token through the x402 header and receive the output token in one API call.
Fees, gas and rent is all handled! It's all paid in the input token ($0.50 + 0.5%) and swapped atomically.
