I’m sound-checking with #StrictlyDan here at @hevercastle and the gardens are looking very green and lush, but this may be the first gig that I need fishing waders for if the rain doesn’t stop soon. Still, the ducks seem to like us!
Several weeks after finishing it, and many months (*coughs*years*coughs*) after starting it, my ‘Aerial Allotment’ embroidery is finally backed and ready to be hung up. I learned a huge amount doing this piece, and I’m excited to get started on my next project… #Embroidery
30 years after it was filmed locally, I have finally watched 'Cold Comfort Farm'. I particularly enjoyed the debut of one my friends, seen here looking like he belonged in 1930s society, even at 17. It's also the reason that none of us can beat him at '6 Degrees of Kevin Bacon'!
