@qatarairways Why is your app saying flight confirmed? And offering upgrades? Couldn’t you help customers by updating the app with useful info & options? And allow customers to cancel or amend without penalty? Meanwhile, alternate flights are going up by the hour & costing customers dearly.

Hello Qatar Airways. I got an email from you suggesting that we have a complimentary change of date for our flight on 4th of March. However, when I tried to move the flight online, it:
- added $300 for the tickets, even though I selected the same Economy class
- added $350 the date change fee
- removed prepaid seat selection, which would cost us another ~$200 for two flights for two people to pay for seat selection again
How do I actually move the date for free and not for $1000? Please advise.
