Roy Cooper holds stock in Duke Energy. Across 40 years, he has accepted more than $440,000 in campaign donations tied to Duke Energy. He even had a Duke Energy lobbyist working on his staff in the Governor's Mansion. He turned down a natural gas pipeline that would have brought down energy costs. He also named the commission that approved a 30% rise in power bills for North Carolina families. At the same time, his family has earned over $1 million per year from a favorable solar deal. Cooper is not worried about what your family is going through, he is only serving his own interests.
He was not good for North Carolina and he most definitely will not be good for North Carolina in Washington
