I genuinely think Love Island needs a gap year. The show has created a culture where people feel entitled to destroy contestants online over edited storylines. The cyberbullying has become the real problem, and the way Black contestants are treated makes this even more concerning
Poverty is expensive in a way that people don’t understand. If you can’t afford a dentist you have long term teeth damage. Not affording healthy food means poor health. Not affording ‘good schools’ means missed opportunities. It is a compounding cycle.
What I’ve learned is that bedtime procrastination isn’t about not being tired. It’s about clinging to the only hours that still feel like they belong to you.
Your waitress isn’t responsible for how slow the food comes out, your cashier isn’t responsible for price changes, and your customer service rep isn’t responsible for company policies. Stop yelling at people who are just doing their jobs.
