Hmmm. So let me try this slave thing.
So the guy wakes up and leaves and goes and builds the pyramids all day.
Meanwhile back at camp the women are making food and cleaning up.
So, they are both slaves, they are working together.
There ya go hopefully you wont hate guys as much or getting into an equal relationships.
Okay... people coming here to be black and white.
Look at how deep and thoughtful what is being said is, you can clearly tell they are attempting to see all sides and are allowing for differing possibilities.
Why do you not notice that is thinking at a higher level than you are?
Why is it within yourself you believe you have answers to question you can't have answer to?
Ember was being a creep because they were there.
Guy walking down the street hears a sound and looks.
Girl changing by a window sees a guy looking at her.
Same thing, people attacking Ember of course only believe the guy to be a pervert, he was there to look in the window.
While people just not attacking Ember are saying "they might of just been walking by"
Strawb says that was the first time they met, I haven't heard what the other two have said. Sure looks like they were just walking by.
Girls use to be guys in mmorpgs. Any girl character would get advances.
It was always creepy to ask about genders and age cause we thought asking about real life meant you wanted to fuck.
For at least 10 years after voip became a thing it was still hard to get people on it as they didn't want anything about themselves to be known.
But hey some people want to have private chats with random people they just met online so no more of that.
There seems to be much greater judgement being poured out these days.
It's my belief that we try to love and care for everyone including our enemies. To do this we just separate them by parts, you can do this on a time scale to get to understanding.
Ember was a baby, then life happened and they ended up here.
If we could separate the things that caused them to be where they are they would no longer be what they are.
I hate those things, I do not hate Ember.
Yeah the rest is what it is. So growing up we had people like that pop up into view where we all could see.
60 min or other shows would have them on, churches would have them in to pray for them.
That book is the output of a crazed and tormented mind. I have compassion for someone so afflicted.
Yes I 100% agree and that line is different for everyone. That line for many can be Ember being a male using a female model. That is dishonest to their audience sure. We can also say the same about super hot models and not so hot people behind them, people can say that is dishonest.
But for Ember that line has a cost when they draw it, and Ember is just a person who is struggling in this world.
Most vtubers don't want any part of them shared with the internet. Being trans right wing vtuber seems to be something most wouldn't want to share lol.
So Ember went to a collab, not sure if it was their discord or someone else's. During that collab, and first meetings with Straw the screen shots happened.
Ember said the line wasn't there yet, I think we can nod and understand that and not judge them to harshly for that thought.
Okay, yes will just flatly agree there.
Can you put yourself in their shoes for them drawing that line themselves?
I like playing girl characters cause I dont like looking at the guys. I just play the game normally and act normally. Now it's my job to watch out for what people say on the internet and should proactively inform them I might not be what they thought I was?
Is there a level to which I offer this affordance? Like instantly cause some people are always talking dirty, or those people get no protection because they do?
After like a week they start talking dirty but I am just sorta near them, not really their friend, only talked like once. One time when they were being dirty I joined in and just said something but it was directed outward and not really towards them in any way. I need to say I am not my character?
Wait. Just one thing at a time so we can have an understanding of beliefs.
Not a friend group, a guild with 50 members, which would be alot less than Ember's community.
Playing a girl character as a guy, or a girl playing a guy character. This is okay right?
So when does this person have to say what they are?
@SonicAir1375@Toto230@not__vee Well hang on. So back before v.o.i.p. we all were on the internet together. Why would we need to know each other's sexes in real life?
Me and a bunch of people I met in a video game, all talking, when do I need to know their sexes and why?
Very good, glad ya said it. That right there is the truth in all things between two people.
Your views are your views, they are not the "view".
In this situation we have some societal views, Leaf just shared some.
I have not heard the views expressed by those who think Ember did something wrong yet, I do not know where they crossed the line. It is possible the other side believes that being a male using a female character that you have no right to keep that secret period. Even if you never actually come into contact with them, they believe they have a right to tell your audience.
Not saying that is their belief but it could be.
Idk... If a mass murdering rapist said they were Christian and just kept murdering a raping, would we say they were Christian?
Seems to me from seeing their post on X that they just claim the word and nothing else, but everyone seems to think they are.
I hold the view that being a Christian is someone who holds the views. If they are judging others, which is what you are talking about here, that sorta points to the fact they don't.
@SonicAir1375@Toto230@not__vee Hold up. They are doing the same thing, they say my personal view must be adopted by everyone, if you disagree you are wrong.
You just stated that too.
So I will ask you, when should Ember have told her?
Wow I think you are missing many many many things.
You are your soul.
You are not your body.
You are not your mind.
You are part of your thoughts.
How much control your soul has is different for every person. What your body wants and how badly it wants it are also different for everyone.
A person can be born with traits that make it a near certainty that they will be extremely violent.
A person can be born with traits that make it nearly impossible for them to be violent.
Which is why we are told not to judge.
@iiaozoradane@tuuu28283 Very.
They are very much strong in their families and communities, taking care of everyone and everything.
Happy, kind, hardworking, honest, plentiful.
