@hope777las @TealTroubadours I’m not there yet with Schnall, but I will say that he seemed a little less intense down the stretch. Now, that’s totally unfair because I only watched TV games. You never get close to a full picture with that. It was more of a sense.

@David_Bohr @Jeff_Dewees @GameTimePA_SC All baseball playoffs should be best-of-3 because it’s the best format for that sport, but it can’t realistically happen in HS with the pitching rule plus travel and weather concerns. But even with its weakest format, HS baseball is the most interesting, IMO

@colin_dunlap I’ve attended one (1) WPIAL footballl championship day at Heinz. Easily the best PIAA sporting event in the state (until 6 classes damaged it).

One of the white hats was a Beaver County guy. Just loved his authentic “first dahhhn” call. Peak Yinzer. Real Yinzer. The rest is b.s.

@BobGreenburg Don’t shriek, but it could be more in some sports - 3 classes in track and boys wrestling have been mentioned many times over the years. But the fact that just about every district has been clubbed in one way or another in postseason make shrunken classes a possibility.
