Until then, I will continue taking each day as it comes, believing that there are still people, places, and moments where I will truly feel seen, valued, and that I belong once again.
The past few days have been emotionally overwhelming in ways I never expected. What was meant to be a celebration of another year of life became a time of confronting emotions I had unknowingly carried for so long. +
Perhaps the deepest wound has been the quiet realization of what it feels like to stand on the outside looking in—to feel unseen, excluded, and as though my presence no longer holds the same place it once did among the people whose acceptance has always mattered most.
Perhaps my inability to cry is not a sign that I feel nothing, but rather a reflection of how deeply these emotions have settled within me. I still hope that one day I will find peace—not because the past has changed, but because I have found the strength to move forward from it.
Despite everything, I hold on to the hope that this season of sorrow is not the end of my story. I believe that every wound has its own time to heal, even if the process feels painfully slow.
It is as if my heart is grieving while my body refuses to release the emotions that desperately seek an outlet. I continue to carry these burdens quietly, hoping that one day I will find the strength to let them go instead of keeping them locked inside.
What makes this experience even more difficult is that I cannot seem to cry. The pain is undeniably present—I feel it in the silence, in the heaviness of my thoughts, and in the exhaustion that lingers within me. Yet no tears fall from my eyes.
Alongside this came the pain of losing a cherished friendship and the relentless weight of work-related struggles, all of which seemed to arrive at once, leaving me emotionally exhausted.
It is a kind of loneliness that cannot easily be explained because it exists not in words spoken, but in the silence, the distance, and the moments that gently remind me that I no longer feel where I once belonged.
Prayer for Stress
Heavenly Father,
My heart feels heavy, and my mind is overwhelmed. I come to You because You are my refuge and my peace. Please calm every anxious thought and replace my fear with Your perfect peace.
Give me strength for today, wisdom for every decision, and courage to trust You even when I cannot see the way ahead. Remind me that I am never alone, because You are always with me.
Help me to rest in Your promises, surrender my worries into Your hands, and walk in faith instead of fear. Fill my heart with hope, joy, and confidence in Your unfailing love.
In Jesus’ name, I pray.
Amen.
