I watched the video twice, that’s crazy asf

[The Black Hokage @TheBlackHokage]

I saw the film WildWood today.

Went into this one blind. The only thing I knew about it is it was produced by the same team who created Coraline. I left the theater pleasantly surprised.

The art is gorgeous, the voice performances were great and the action is solid. The story has a good message to it too. It felt like a high fantasy version of Expedition 33.

I'd recommend seeing it. Just know (if you have kids) even though it LOOKS kiddy there is SOME cursing & blood in the action scenes, but nothing too crazy.

8.5/10

It’s even sadder that the last time we hear his voice was in Coyote vs. Acme, which almost didn’t happen. Very grateful I got to grow up with his amazing talent.

RIP Eric Bauza, thank you for our childhoods. ❤️ 🙏

So… this is clearly human trafficking disguised as being tough on immigration.

Eric Bauza has sadly passed away at the age of 46.

The modern voice of Bugs Bunny and Daffy Duck alongside many other beloved characters.

Me: I'm never going to hate an EA CEO as much as John "pay to reload your clip" Riccitiello who is largely responsible for why games had chunks of story ripped out for DLC, leading to Andromeda launching gutted.

Somehow... EA CEO Andrew Wilson has managed to claim the crown.

A deputy put the barrel of his gun into a man's mouth and pulled the trigger.

It clicked. So he racked the slide and pulled it again.

Michael Jenkins lived. This was JANUARY 2023.

Braxton, Mississippi. 24 January 2023.

A white neighbour telephoned the police to report that two Black men were at a house with a white woman. The homeowner, Kristi Walley, was a childhood friend of one of them. She was in hospital at the time.

Six officers came. Five were Rankin County sheriff's deputies. The sixth was an off-duty officer from another force.

They broke the front door down. They had no warrant.

They called themselves the Goon Squad.

Over roughly ninety minutes they handcuffed Michael Jenkins and Eddie Parker, beat them, used tasers on them repeatedly, poured liquids over them, sexually assaulted Parker with an object, and threatened them with rape. They used racial slurs throughout and told the men to go back to Jackson — to their side of the river.

Then Hunter Elward put his service weapon in Michael Jenkins's mouth for what the officers later described as a mock execution.

The first pull clicked.

He racked the slide and pulled again. The round tore through Jenkins's tongue and shattered his jaw.

He survived.

Read the date again. The twenty-fourth of January, two thousand and twenty-three.

Not 1963. Not Mississippi in the era your grandmother remembers. Three years ago, in a house, by men in uniform, who had a name for themselves.

What they did next is at nine this morning, and it is arguably worse.

I love how Raven juggles cooking for her kids, teaching as a professor at Hillman, and being an involved PTA mom at Abbott Elementary. What a well-rounded woman!🖤

The fact that America Chavez's literal power is traveling the multiverse yet she wouldn't even be in Doomsday or have an important role in Secret wars proves that absurd.
