Supporter of Non-League football in the community of Lincolnshire. Also local campaigner for the common good of my community, not just once every four years.
@SarahLancsUK Happy Valley, series 1,2,&3 was epic viewing, with a fantastic cast.
But how do you follow the evil Tommy Lee Royce.
Perhaps Sally Wainwright would know?
@StamfordWomen@JCurrall Well done & well deserved Bob's. Always gives 100%
2025-26 was very competitive, but John & the squad have really put the hours in overall.
I'm looking forward to 2026-27, and what we can build on for the new season.
@theposh Just proves that longevity is the key to any success story at all levels of our beautiful game.
Barry has been an absolute stalwart to the club and I wish Peterborough United & all concerned with the club, a very successful 2026-27 season.
@DuncanBrowne_ Crowland to Spalding is a nice 20 mile round trip.
While approaching 4 mile bar three cyclists overtook me.
I caught them up while having a drink stop at the water tower, I said been far today guys.
They replied, Edinburgh. How about you they replied?
I said Spalding. π
@StamfordAFC1896 Exciting news maybe on its way, but still disappointing to have seen so many key players leave the club we all love.
Certainly wish the new Gaffer well with his club rebuild project and plenty of time before preseason.
@joeburgess2@LincsOLSport@StamfordAFC1896 All the best Joe, with whatever comes in your next chapter of non-league football.
It's been a pleasure to support you along the way.
Best regards,Rodder's.
Good to see my old local pub, The Draymans Arms, Little London Spalding, still open.
The landlord (Rick) has done a great job with the beer garden and there's regular live music, attracting local bands and plenty of customers.
A nice 20 mile round trip on a summer evening.
@t_jacko1 Tom, you've been a great No 1 for Stamford AFC, and your clean sheets have been crucial in so many games.
It's been a pleasure to support you along the journey and I wish you all the best with your continuous journey as a great keeper.
Best regards Rodder's.
@PaulDuell2@StamfordAFC1896 Definitely Paul, I cast my mind back a few weeks ago when we had the AGM.
Things looked positive after surviving relegation and the Chairman got support during that meeting.
Things won't be the same, and will be a case of rebuilding from top to bottom, especially the supporters.
@e8a24d0444524f1@StamfordAFC1896 I was thinking the same John. Any news on player retention, have we got a new Chairperson that will be working closely with our new Gaffer over the 2026-27 season?
@StamfordWomen I've just picked up some hard copies of the Player Sponsorship Poster.
Very pleased with the way they turned out, print on plastic paper.
Also, I have been charged mate's rates.
@LincsCC_roads Please shelve the idea of gravelling some rural roads in Lincolnshire.
Cyclists are running out of roads to use. The old A1073, just outside Crowland has been closed since last November.
Vital bus and local community route.
But the Deeping High Bank is looking better.
@KaiSanchezTonge@StamfordAFC1896 All the best Kai, it was a pleasure to support you whilst you were at Stamford AFC.
You certainly made a big difference when the Gaffer signed you up.
Always gave 100% commitment.
Best wishes for the future.
@StamfordAFC1896@NewarkTownFC@granthamtownfc We used to start preseason with a cracking game against our league one neighbours Peterborough United, which brought us a fantastic atmosphere & attendance.
Welcome Newark & Grantham Town.
Any chance of Boston United or Lincoln City?
