Nos va a llevar un tiempo, porque perder una final duele, y al dolor hay que darle su lugar. Pero un día nos vamos a despertar y nos vamos a acordar, sobre todo, de las cosas increíbles que hizo Messi en su atardecer, y de lo que sufrimos con Cabo Verde, y de cómo resucitamos en 12 minutos en octavos, y de los goles de Julián y Lautaro contra Suiza, y de cómo se lo dimos vuelta a los ingleses en la semifinal. Y vamos a darnos cuenta de que hicimos un Mundial increíble, y todo mientras teníamos que bancarnos a un montón de imbéciles que hablaron hasta por los codos, imbéciles que no tienen ni idea de fútbol ni de nuestro modo de ser y de actuar, tejiendo teorías conspirativas que nos indignan, pero en el fondo deberían causarnos gracia.
Los más grandes ya lo vivimos en Italia 90: hay Mundiales que no te dejan una estrella más en el pecho, pero alimentan tu Historia.
Así que gracias, Selección Argentina. Un abrazo grande y gracias por todo.
