Today, members received training on the newest @BaltimoreFire unit, Brush 1, a 4-wheel drive truck with 175gal water tank, small fire pump, & fire hoses. This will help fight fires in areas where engines can’t access.
One community member also tried it out and gave his approval.

The Northwood Community in Northeast Baltimore wants to keep this fire house fully operational. Right now, #BaltimoreCity budget cuts would remove Engine 4 from this station & Engine 55 from the Pigtown station, which many are concerned will increase response times. #GMM2

The @BaltimoreFire Fire Rescue Boat just made a rescue from the Inner Harbor near the 1900 blk Thames St #FellsPoint. One patient was rescued from the water and transferred to awaiting #BCFD EMS members.
