Let's reiterate some facts here.
1⃣ 51 of the 55 African countries HAVE made vaccine orders.
2⃣ 4 of the 51 have received NIL.
3⃣ Of the 47 that have received vaccines, they amount to 3% of orders
4⃣ Just 43% of vaccines received are from #COVAX.
Africans are not the problem.
Why I love my job @The_BMC ! Teams of people working to safely and equitably distribute vaccines to their front line colleagues getting cheered on by their friends celebrating the arrival of the vaccines! A great day, a great place. ❤️
The numbers are devastating! - One woman is killed by a man every three days in the UK – a figure unchanged in a decade. A new census analyses this epidemic of male violence! - Nov 24th begins 16 days of activism against gender violence! 1/5 https://t.co/zrsS47vnjR
I look forward to hearing Judge Barrett explain the hypocrisy that will permit her to accept the nomination after arguing Merrick Garland could not be confirmed to SCOTUS 8 months before the 2016 election because his views were too different from Justice Scalia’s.
We interrupt the gloom with a nanosecond of uplift: A 17-year-old Afghan girl, a coal-miner's daughter who was nearly murdered by the Taliban while studying, just placed No. 1 out of 200,000 Afghan kids taking the university entrance exam. https://t.co/QdpeAyFHHY
National security adviser Robert O'Brien says that after the Israel-UAE peace deal, President Trump "would be rightly considered, and should be a frontrunner, for the Nobel Peace Prize." Trump has said several times in the past that he deserves the prize https://t.co/rq7alBllj2
Congressman John Lewis has passed. My one and only American hero. Read his memoir, Walking with the Wind and watch new film, Good Trouble. Terrible loss.
In 1961 I was only 6 days behind him but never caught up.
Whoa, whoa!!! This is why there is an emoluments clause. Presidents cannot have financial interests dependent on foreign govts. https://t.co/1RNItpAQ26 via @politico
This is E 180th St. station in the Bronx. This is what it’s like to NOT have the privilege of working from home. Social distancing is a privilege that many don’t have. #COVID19#NYC
