Coastal and pelagic ecotypes of bottlenose dolphins have recurrently formed in different regions of the world. We previously identified evidence of parallel adaptation in modern genomes of coastal-pelagic ecotype pairs from the Atlantic and Pacific DOI: 10.1126/sciadv.abg1245.
