Some pictures from this week’s Mayo Clinic’s AI Research Summit. I presented our work on a PET tracer classifier (~93% on test set) and a poster on therapeutic window based on tau progression for Alzheimer’s disease AA DMTs which has also been accepted at AAIC’26.
About 2.5 miles from home my 4yo son’s bike chain got loose. We spent half an hour trying to fix it and even had strangers stopping by and offering help. Met nice people and good conversations☺️. Couldn’t fix it, so we walked our bike all the way home. Never been so proud of him.
@JohnHolbein1 Dealing with this right now. Got a response from a reviewer which is clearly AI generated and it’s really crazy a person would put a whole document into a chatbot and expect an answer. Are they going to give the response to the bot too?
So much fun happening at @AASAutonomic. Honored to receive the Don Summers travel fellowship award and looking forward to the rest of the conference. #AAS2025.
In my talk we introduced a novel method using ML to identify MSA subtype specific heterogeneity (HET) relative to PD.
My oldest and I biked 6 and half miles today, our farthest ride so far. He would jump off and push his bike whenever it got too steep. I was so proud of him.
The place was packed to the brim as always. We go there so exited for the food but after a couple of French fries and donuts and ice creams we’re so full we bring most of it back home 🤣.
