@mark1_1878 Yes, let's hope so. Just a pity so many let the former chairman entrench that attitude so deeply withing the club for so long. The new owners actions, not words will speak volumes this summer.
When we finished 5th the manager got a mural on the side of the main stand, a new contract, which made it nigh on impossible to sack him until Moshiri arrived and he was put on a ridiculous pedestal by a chairman/owner who had no standards. The same fella the majority applauded!
@rossEFC95 And the vast majority of the fan base stood and applauded Mr Kenwright when a section of support were trying to do something about his reign of failure.
@JohnRobert1878@everton_arent Moyes rightly has to be questioned over the last 7 games especially but the effort they put in, in that game was disgusting. They looked disinterested from the start
Still can't believe those players of ours threw in a performance like that against Sunderland when a place in a competition that affords you the best chance of success was in their hands. Happily get rid of the vast majority of them
@StuartAtherton3 I won't. We will hear the same excuses, we tried, players didn't fancy it, the world cup made it harder. All bollocks. The club should know now the players we want. Bids should be put in immediately
Furthermore if they are ambitious and decide sticking with and backing Moyes is the right way to go. For god sake get business done early. No excuses. No blaming the world cup. Show you mean business. Show we are going to do things differently now. Be ready in July not September
@Vaughanie10 Awful. I think it's been evident by the fact he keeps changing them that the manager isn't a fan of either. Which makes it all the more frustrating that he's persisted with them both all season and not tried anything different
@rianmbfc You mean the fella who once took the ball off a team mate in an England game to take a penalty because he'd never scored for his country AND missed? Never!
@burrows_andy Since the return from the 2 week break after beating Chelsea we have been poor. Not kept a clean sheet and he's by and large stuck with the same players and set up. Keane and Tarkowski partnership would have had us relegated in 2023 and 3 years on they are together.
Cards on the table. I was a massive fan of Moyes first time around, absolutely gutted when he left.
Was indifferent when he returned and thought he did a brilliant job last season worthy of praise and thanks. This season though has been one of sheer frustration
@XentertainerII Not laughing at all. I liked Silva and he did okay in that first season. We then sold Gueye, his replacement got injured and never played and we let a centre half go without replacing him and went into his 2nd season desperately short squad wise. Also signed a dud up top! As if!!
Bastards. What a chance we had here to send one of the Premier Leagues favourite sons down and we throw in a performance like this. Fuck off the lot of you!
