@WorvellMichelle@BFreemasons@UGLE_GrandLodge My opinion is that retention is a particular problem for my Mother Lodge; across the whole spectrum from Past Masters to the occasional new member.
Usual welcome and hospitality @StTeilo4755 annual visit to Beaufort Lodge 3834 Swansea. Treated to a master class in the explanation of the 1st Degree Tracing Board. The Candidates cannot fail to have been suitably impressed, I certainly was.

Best practice tip: If you’re looking to recruit / maintain members of a young or working age, then meetings which start during working hours are not conducive to them attending without detriment to themselves. Members shouldn’t have to take time off work to enjoy their Masonry.
I’m busy preparing to be passed into fellowcraft at our next meeting on 7th March.
I’m so excited to see what my next regular step in freemasonry will bring.
I’ve learned opening, closing, tools and charge for 1st degree and can’t wait to get my teeth into the second 👍
@alanltc Hope you manage to get away ok. ✈ Have a safe journey wherever you decide to spend Christmas. Compliments of the season to you and the family. 🎅
