Doing what's best for students is often doing what's best for teachers.
When teachers have what they need to be successful, then students get more of what they need to be successful.
We can't expect teachers to pour from an empty cup.
Great, Positive Leaders.....
-Small ego, big mission.
-WE before me.
-A lot of love and accountability.
-A lot of grace and truth.
-Demanding but not demeaning.
-Loving but not enabling.
-Shout praise. Whisper criticism.
-High standards, low tolerance for excuses.

“All kids want to be loved and understood. All challenging behavior is merely evidence of kids asking us for that love and understanding in a way they know how.” @ASCD
A2: For the 💜 of Pete, PLEASE support your teachers. Stay positive in front of your children. How you speak about and to teachers sends a CLEAR message to your children.
This pandemic & new way of teaching isn't easy for ANYONE. #LiftThemUp#DontTearThemDown#TnEdChat
We coach people first, teachers second. You can’t be a successful coach & ignore the human element of the work. I have always believed this, but the pandemic has caused this idea to resound in my ear. How we speak to & treat those we work with matters, now perhaps more than ever.
More about my #OneWord2020#Purpose. There’s a diff in being the best IN the world & the best FOR the world. It’s evident in both how we treat & speak to those around us. A great video showing what it means to look for the best in others. https://t.co/d6WOXdQzgP via @YouTube
