@CrosbyNicky@wearetrackradio I left Co.Durham for Lancs at 11 years old in the 70s, I was called Geordie Taylor through school days. Everybody from the NE was a Geordie then.
50 years on, as a passionate Sunderland fan, that feels like an insult. 🤷🏻♂️
But I’m going to Milan, so who cares @CrosbyNicky ! 🤣
@JamesCopley_ Sunderland arrived at Brighton on Saturday in a team coach. Hackett pointed out that this would clearly need the driver to hold a valid driving licence. ‘It will be interesting to hear from the DVLA about this’, said the aging, irrelevant bore.

@sunderlandaye @Capt_Fishpaste It was simulation with a view to getting Hume booked (making out he’d had studs into his shin). Entirely correct decision.
@JamesCopley_ Bold and outrageously ambitious but, simultaneously, all calmly calculated in a strategic manner. A different level to anything I’ve experienced in over 50 years supporting the Bonny Lads.
@BilbaoBlackCats Use of language not your strong point. A poor game from a v young player in his first start being described as ‘out of depth’. Constant referring to game mgt but not recognising we have v little depth on the bench. 🙄🙄
@JamesCopley_ This is the Merriam-Webster definition of ‘imminent’ 🤔🤔 ‘Imminent describes something that is about to happen very soon. Sometimes, but not always, it is specifically applied to something that looms as dreaded or frightening, as in a disaster.’
@BethRigby@RuthDavidsonPC@jessphillips Will ‘not totally disastrous’ results for Tories be the best result for Labour? Ie holding Tees & W Midlands may keep Sunak in post as opposed to potentially needing to deal with a new leader (Mordaunt?) in GE.
@nedboulting Astoundingly poor performance by a Govt Minister. Flustered, defensive, incoherent and not helped by his repeated banging the table with his hand (or was it his head)?
@SportsOrla@SportsOrla is always knowledgeable, calm and cool (and very funny). But the way she authentically navigated the deep emotions in the studio after the race (hers and the others), was wonderfully impressive.
