@richkos93 @moymiz But Israel can't be a member unless the Treaty is modified. The reason Turkey is specifically mentioned is although it is mainly in Asia part of it is in mainland Europe so it was allowed to join and include "the entirety of Turkey". Israel is wholly in Asia.

@EnergyMix_UK To be fair, under Article 6 of the Treaty, the Falklands falls outside the geographical limits of NATO. Interestingly, so does Hawaii so if that state were attacked, the US couldn't invoke Article 5.

I was responding to Cuchullain's post where it was said that Sabrina was illiterate when her interpretation was actually correct. Not a bad faith argument, just being correct about the language.

@AlanRMacLeod I see that Ghana tabled the motion. Do they not realise that slavery existed in that region before the trans-Atlantic slave trade. Their ancestors were complicit in the slave trade by capturing and selling people into slavery. They're asking for reparations from themselves.

@JibbaJabb @DrKetan @TheCinesthetic Well the clock face may have been manipulated, but filming took place over several months so the scene depicted may have been filmed later in the year. Sources that I can find say that the London scenes were completed within 45 minutes of sunrise.
