Journalists must be able to work in safety w/o fear.
Every threat to a journalist is an attack on #FreedomofExpression.
As a woman journalist in Afghanistan, @AhadZuhal was under threat, she had no choice but to flee.

On Thursday, as I handed copies of my book Freedom of Expression and Media Laws in South Sudan, to Bishop McCaulley Memorial Library, at Pope Paul VI Learning Resource Center, at the Catholic University of Easter Africa, and as received by the Librarian.
#IGAD needs to exert extraordinary efforts to convince the warring parties in #Sudan to end the fighting immediately, unconditionally, resort to dialogue. The humanitarian situation in the conflict areas, esply in Khartoum, is already terrible, more clashes will make it worse.
With Sadia, the stories about how our competition for the number one position in primary school, especially during the tops years, would get so tight was just wow!
Appreciations!!
Last week, I was able to sign my book to my former colleague Sadia Sebit James of St. Joseph's and St. Daniel Comboni Schools, now Member of Parliament representing #SouthSudan at the East African Legislative Assembly. #SSOT#FreedomOfExpression#HumanRights
Thankful for the time and physical reunion after about half a decade; as I'm thankful to all friends who have been able to check on me as such, especially at the current contexts.
