Landers wasn't built to help people copy landing pages
It was built to make the underlying decisions easier to study:
- The sequence
- The proof
- The offer
- The objections
- The CTA
Live now inside WinningHunter.
From researching a brand in WinningHunter to developing AI ad concepts, @kamil_sattar walks through the process step by step..
Pay attention to what he looks for before he starts creating!
I have @winninghunt show me which ecommerce companies are gaining momentum before I make another Google Ads decision
This keeps my research focused on companies where multiple signals are moving at once
Here's what I look at:
- traffic direction
- Google Ads activity
- Meta activity
- products being pushed
- landing pages
- changes over time
Then I decide which companies and products deserve deeper research
The real signal is when traffic, products and paid activity start moving together.
My first move on AI shopping would be boring:
Make every product page clear about who it's for, what it does and why someone should believe it
If a customer can't explain your product after reading the page, I wouldn’t expect an AI to explain it well either..
A store gaining traffic doesn't automatically mean its ads are working
The traffic could be coming from somewhere else
Organic search
Influencer mentions
Affiliate traffic
A viral post
Email
Direct visits from existing customers
That's why traffic should never be interpreted alone
Compare it with what’s happening across the rest of the company
Are active ads increasing at the same time?
Are new products being introduced?
Is the brand publishing more creatives?
Are its emails becoming more frequent?
If traffic rises while paid activity remains flat, the growth may be coming from organic attention or retention
If traffic and active ads rise together, the brand may be scaling acquisition
If ads increase but traffic doesn't move, the brand may still be testing or struggling to convert that spend
The numbers become useful when you read them together
One metric tells you something changed
Several connected metrics help explain what changed
Don't ask whether the store is growing
Ask what appears to be driving the growth.
Most people use AI to generate more creative ideas
The better use is improving the research before production starts
Ask it to find brands gaining traffic, increasing ad activity and repeating the same angles
Then connect the ads, products, landers and store momentum into one research trail
A strategist can go from a niche to a research-backed brief in an afternoon
AI finds the evidence while a human decides what it means
Research got faster, but the thinking still matters..
The first ad a brand runs for a new product is the purest read on their launch strategy you'll ever get!
On @winninghunt:
Filter to Images
Set a recent Product Creation Date
Open the advertisers behind the results
You get launch-focused statics instead of another list of established evergreen products.
I keep coming back to the (5 Ones) because one of the easiest mistakes in ecom is confusing expansion with scaling..
1- One person
2- One problem
3- One product
4- One channel
5- One year
Scaling creates opportunities faster than it creates reasons to pursue them
Sometimes the smartest move is letting the first thing cook.

THERE'S WAY TOO MUCH ECOM DATA NOW!
which is funny because I don't think anyone wants more of it..
I want:
(something unusual happened here)
now that's worth opening
the most valuable competitor signal is often a change in behavior
more creatives than usual
a new email sequence
EU spend moving
an ad suddenly gaining rank
those changes give you somewhere specific to investigate instead of another competitor profile to browse..
My static ad research now looks like this:
Open WinningHunter
Filter to image ads
Sort by longest running
Keep brands still adding ads
Check whether rank is rising or stable
Study the hooks repeated across similar creatives
Open the lander before writing the brief
Much better than building a swipe file from whatever looked nice in my feed.
You could literally turn one Google Shopping ad into an entire competitor list
Open Google Ads in WinningHunter and use:
- Status: Active
- Format: Image
- Platform type: Shopping
- Days Running: Evergreen (30+)
- Countries: United States
- Publication date: leave it open
- Sort: Most recently seen
Ignore advertisers with one random ad
Look for brands running several 30+ day Shopping ads around the same product category
Follow the 10 strongest brands and set weekly notifications for new ads, new emails and store-rank changes..
Now your research is built around Google advertisers that keep showing up, not products someone tested for three days
Ain't that hard.
Lymphoria's estimated traffic is rising while its active ad count is falling
That makes @Ecom_Matteo's example worth a closer look: which products, angles and formats is the brand continuing to run as it grows?
Insane example of quick scale. Within 1 year your live can change.
These guys:
- Found a upcoming trend (lymphe drainage)
- Went crazy on customer research
- Made an ad money machine
- Go crazy on new formats and crush with that
Thats the key to 1M days.
@winninghunt is where I run my backward static-ad workflow:
Landing-page promise
Image-ad variations
Repeated hooks
Message match
Original brief
The complete research path in one place.
We gave GPT-6 Astra a specific job using WinningHunter data:
Check EU/UK Meta spend every day..
Flag a product only when its estimated spend rises for 3+ consecutive days across 3+ different stores
Include the spend estimates, growth figures and links
You still decide what's worth investigating
You just don't have to repeat the same checks every day.
Five updates we shipped from June to August:
- Google Ads
- Landing Page Library
- Store Email Insights
- Stores + Brand Tracker
- Reorganized Filters
Each adds context to your research: how brands attract customers, what they say and how their activity changes..
