@historylvrsclub Nice, I have one of those. Those were minted by the British Royal Mint in London from 1927-1948. The inscription reads, Palestine, the Land of Israel. Arabs rioted over this because they despised the name Palestine as it was a reference to Jews at that time. Fascinating history.
@Samimobied3 @Jerusalem_Post Hopefully the Egyptian Army will get involved soon and put an end to Hamas. Then Egypt can take responsibility for all things Gaza.
@SputnikInt The irony is the PLO tried to murder King Abdullah's father King Hussein in 1970 (Black September) and take over Jordan after their failed attempt to take over Lebanon in 1968. King Hussein revoked the citizenship of Palestinians living in the West Bank as punishment.
@Jerusalem_Post We have already been down this road. The ink wont even be dry as incitement, terror attacks, and the endless stream of propaganda continues. One thing that will be sure, a Palestinian state will be a hell hole for all who live their with the corruption and hatred and intolerance.
@AlMonitor@daoudkuttab Just forget Israel and start working with Jordan. Use their resources, hospitals, train security with them, etc. Plenty of crossings can be setup along the Jordan river and use King Abdullah as the mediator for future discussions.
AFRIN & THE KURDS stood up to ISIS. Time to stand up for Afrin & the Kurds. Time to #DefendAfrin
Join our TwitterStorm tonight's hashtag is #DefendAfrin
DEFEND AFRIN!
In the last few days, Turkish president Recep Tayyip Erdogan has threatened to attack Afrin, ostensibly in order to destroy the YPG, a predominantly Kurdish militia which has been crucial in the fight against ISIS.
@AJEnglish@RamzyBaroud Start with rebranding. Arabs didn't start calling themselves Palestinians until the 60's. Before that, Palestinian was a reference to Jews. A new more appropriate identity is needed. Focus on rebuilding the relationship with Jordan and apologize for 1970 take over attempt.
@AlMonitor@UNRWA@plato010 The Palestinian narrative is falling apart. Too many people know that Arabs didn't call themselves "Palestinians" until the 1960s and that the refugee situation in the West Bank is largely due to the PLOs attempted murder of King Hussein and attempted takeover of Jordan in 1970.
@AJEnglish Time for new leadership. This is counter-productive. Take the Abu Dis deal. Abu Dis a neighborhood of Jerusalem and its exactly what you wanted. Focus on repairing the relationship with Jordan and just apologize already for trying to take over and murder King Hussein in 1970.
In 1992, Kuwait kicked out over 250,000 Palestinians for criminal behavior, terrorism, and claiming they had lived their from the dawn of time itself. Familiar narrative? Arafat claimed this was worse then then those displaced in 1948 due to Arab aggression. #Kuwait#Palestine https://t.co/DIh5vz56kJ
Kuwaiti columnist Abdallah Al-Hadlaq: "@UNRWA is a biased and racist organization that perpetuates the refugee issue and aims at the destruction of Israel. The U.N. must stop funding this racist organization until it fades and disappears." https://t.co/wq4b9jg6RS @PKraehenbuehl
@DovLieber Abu Dis is really Jerusalem for all good purposes. If Palestinian's don't accept this deal, they will once again, regret it later. Take the deal, then focus on repairing relationship with Jordan and just apologize for attempted PLO takeover in 1970 #BlackSeptember
@Jerusalem_Post That's stating the obvious. A regime change is long overdue. Someone who isn't deluded and can focus their efforts on repairing the relationship with Jordan for starters. It's time to get beyond #BlackSeptember and apologize for PLO trying to take over Jordan back in 1970.
