@bubbleboi MacBooks are the best choice for most because of the great desktop environment running all the apps you need that don’t always work under Linux, while also allowing the same tools you use on Linux in the terminal. For developing software I’d say a Mac is superior. Or use a VM!

@bubbleboi You can use Homebrew and have all of the Linux tools available to you, while making use of an excellent desktop environment with ease of use and a more comfortable usage when doing office work, than if you are running Linux and putting together your own desktop environment

@bubbleboi Also, MacBooks are very reliable machines with great displays, great battery life, great sound, and most importantly a great OS that supports many many applications that don’t always work as well under Linux. It also has UNIX compatibility allowing you to run most Linux tools
